Joe himself is a tzaddik. That should be stated first, before anything else is said. Joe provides Westmount Shul with wings for each Thursday night Kollel. After some beautiful learning, it's wonderful to take a break and enjoy the best wings available in all of Toronto.
My wife and I always find it to be a special treat ordering from Cookoo's. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is clean, attractive and offers the best fleishig meal available in any restaurant.
The wings are amazing. I always debate about whether 1 lb will be enough, and am always disappointed when they're finished. The hamburgers are first class.
It's wonderful being a Kosher Jew! |

There is nothing better than watching an amazing finish to the superbowl while pounding 15 pounds of wings from the wingmaster himself, Mr. Joe Boo. The rarely ordered honey garlic wings were a surprise hit like Kurt Warner throwing that touchdown to Larry. All in all a great night and some seriously awesome wings from Joe Boo's. |

WOWOWOWOW
After I ate the Schwarma (or schawerrrrrrmeh, as the middle eastern man who made it called it) i was visibly pregnant.
It was undoubtedly the best kosher schwarma in Toronto, but boasted a 12$ price tag.
They stuff the hell out of that pita so if you're looking for fast food - ok environment and friendly atmosphere...

Joe Boo's Cookoos is the most amazing restaurant in the world. Seriously, it is pound for pound the greatest food I have ever tasted. I dream about Joe Boo's! The chicken finger sandwich is the hidden gem on the menu because it is not listed with the rest of the sandwiches and burgers. The shwarma is amazing as well. There is so much meat in the shwarma, that it overflows. We got the medium wings and they are the perfect amount of hot and still unbelievably delicious. I have only two complaints. 1. They close at 8pm so we mostly get take out. 2. They only have a location in Thornhill. Mr. Boo it is time to bring the best restaurant in the world to Lawrence and Bathurst. Every one should try Joe Boo's once in their life! |
